Christopher C. Froman
Chairman & CEO
Chris Froman is the Chairman and CEO of Pomeroy and is responsible for the strategic vision and execution, competitive positioning, and growth of the Company.
Chris joined Pomeroy in 2007 and led the efforts to significantly transform the organization and grow revenue and profitability from 2007 to 2018 and has now rejoined Pomeroy as Chairman and CEO in November 2019.
In 2009, Chris led the public to private transaction of Pomeroy after being acquired by Platinum Equity Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm. He also led the company’s growth strategy, which was accentuated by the acquisition and integration of other complementary services firms. In 2015 Clearlake Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm acquired Pomeroy, and Chris led that transaction along with the simultaneous merger and integration of Tolt Solutions, Inc., a retail focused IT services firm within the Clearlake portfolio.
In 2018, Chris led the successful sale of Pomeroy to Getronics, a European based IT services company with global capabilities, and is now leading the transition of Pomeroy under its legacy brand in North America announced November 2019.
Prior to joining Pomeroy in 2007, Chris served as Senior Vice President, OKI Printing Solutions, and he also held executive roles at Lexmark International and IBM Corporations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Chris is passionate about community service and has been an active volunteer in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern KY communities. He previously served as the Chairman of the Cincinnati Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, as well as on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce, and as a Board Member of the Cincinnati Regional Business Committee.
Chief Strategy & Services Officer
John rejoined the Pomeroy team in January 2020 as its Chief Strategy and Services Officer. He is responsible for the company’s Services business, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and the marketing of the Pomeroy brand.
Prior to joining Pomeroy, John served as an independent advisor to a variety of strategy, private equity, financial services and management consulting firms engaged in the IT and business services marketplace. Previously he held other senior leadership positions within Pomeroy, including Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Services. Prior to Pomeroy, John served as Chief Strategy and Services Officer for CompuCom, with focus on outsourcing, sales, consulting, and M&A activities. He also held various senior leadership positions with Oracle, Deloitte and as a founder in his firm.
John has more than 25 years’ experience in the IT Services industry. He is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland with Bachelor of Science.
Chief Revenue Officer
John Blackburn is the Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Pomeroy and is responsible for leading the company’s sales organization and revenue growth strategy. A 30+ year industry veteran, John joined Pomeroy in 2001 after Pomeroy acquired Verity Solutions, where he was founder and President and CEO. During his career at Pomeroy, John has held various executive sales leadership positions in the company and has led efforts to expand the company’s customer base and grow the portfolio of managed service customers.
Prior to joining Pomeroy, John was President of FrontWay Network Solutions, and held various executive roles at SARCOM, The Future Now and Basicomputer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree In Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
Chief Human Capital Officer
Felicia Kohlenberger is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Pomeroy and is responsible for leading all people and engagement initiatives including strategic planning & oversight for change management initiatives, employee and leadership development, talent management, recruitment, hiring, orientation, retention, compensation, benefits and payroll.
Felicia has over 25 years of HR experience working with a variety of industries and companies such as Pepsico, McDonald’s, CNA Insurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from DePaul University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Loyola University. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and watching movies with her family and volunteering for those in need.
Chief Financial Officer
Craig Propst is the Chief Financial Officer of Pomeroy and leads the company’s finance team encompassing accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, accounts receivable and payable, invoicing and tax.
A 20+ year veteran of the technology industry, Craig served as Pomeroy’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from 2008 to 2016 and then rejoined the company in 2020. During his career, Craig has held executive finance positions at publicly traded and privately held software and services companies including PCMS Datafit, Qlik, Logistyx Technologies, and Software Spectrum. Craig began his career as an Air Force intelligence officer and served for nine years, participating in Operation Desert Storm. Craig holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy.
Chief Information Officer
Bob Watts is the company’s Chief Information Officer. Bob leads the company’s Information Technology and Security teams and therefore is responsible for the development, deployment, security, and service of corporate and client business systems. With decades of leadership experience in the technology industry, Bob and his team are focused on developing and delivering world class services and solutions that accelerate, invigorate, and protect client businesses.
Bob began his career as an U.S. Army Aviation officer and he believes strongly in service to his country and community. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, a Masters of Business Organizational Management degree from the University of California, and a CISSP certification.
Senior Vice President, Partners & Alliances
Bob Burlas currently serves as Senior Vice President, Partners & Alliances at Pomeroy. He manages the company’s overall Business Partner and Alliance Strategy and is responsible for all Procurement Operations.
In 2008, Bob started at Pomeroy as the Regional Vice President for the Cincinnati Region and over the next several years expanded his role to include several geographic regions across the South & Central United States. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Vice President & Managing Director, Partners & Alliances for Getronics who acquired Pomeroy in July of 2018. Bob has over 29 years of worldwide sales, channel and technology industry experience. Prior to Pomeroy, he worked at Cisco Systems. He was responsible for establishing the worldwide channel strategy and partnerships for several of Cisco’s advanced technology solutions. Prior to Cisco, he held various worldwide sales and executive leadership positions at IBM and McDATA/Brocade.
Burlas received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management/Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in 1986 and an MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1989. He is currently, President and Executive Board member on the Purdue University, Krannert School of Management Alumni Association (KSAA) and serves on the local Board of Directors for the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He also serves as an active volunteer for the American Red Cross in Indianapolis, IN. He is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with his family who reside in Carmel, IN a suburb of Indianapolis.
Pomeroy General Counsel
Michael O’Toole is Pomeroy’s General Counsel reporting directly to CEO Chris Froman and is a member of the company’s executive committee.
In his role as General Counsel, he is responsible for overseeing Pomeroy’s worldwide legal affairs including litigation, employee matters, intellectual property, corporate matters and real estate. Michael works closely with the company’s human resources, finance, marketing, communications, sales and business development teams on a wide range of issues and strategies to enable solutions that contribute to achieving company goals and priorities.
Prior to joining Pomeroy, Michael was in private practice and served as General Counsel for Acquire2Retire Solutions, an IT consulting company. Before that, Michael was Associate General Counsel for Gerson Lehrman Group, the world’s knowledge marketplace, connecting clients with insights from a network of more than 700,000 experts. Earlier in his career, Michael was Assistant General Counsel and Director of Procurement for i2 Technologies, a publicly traded supply chain software company.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance from Southern Methodist University and also earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University.
