Console Operations

Pomeroy provides support for a variety of mid range and mainframe console operations, including class I and II systems. We understand that the key to working with these critical legacy systems is in understanding not only the technical operations, but also the importance of the business processes and impact of these systems to critical functions within the organization. Pomeroy will manage processing tasks, maintain operating procedures, perform IPLs and IMLs, and perform standard systems operations and maintenance. 

Our Console Operations services can be delivered in a variety of ways, to include on-site in your facilities or from our regional delivery centers, depending on your business requirements. Our experience ranges from large mainframe environments to mid-range AS400 style solutions, resulting in improved systems operations, higher quality systems documentation, and cost savings for our customers. Pomeroy has also provided console operations for one of the first states in the US to outsource its full range of IT services.

Data Center Print Operations

Pomeroy provides print, distribution and production support to a wide spectrum of market sectors. Each month, we deliver printing and distribution services resulting in nearly 10 million sheets of output. Production includes business sensitive checks, invoices, and administrative and critical business reports. Our customers include the industry leading IT service providers and the world's leading outsourcing organizations.

Tape and Media Management

Our data center support operations provide full management, inventory control and security for portable magnetic media. Pomeroy manages and safeguards in excess of seven million tapes with an average of 20 to 40 gigabytes of business critical data. Our clients include international financial, defense and investment companies as well as the industry leading IT service providers and the world's leading out-sourcing organization.

Remote Site Support

Our team of remote operatives performs media management, maintenance and emergency call support for distributed customer sites, adhering to all customer procedures, standards, and security and control practices per corporate audit compliance. We deliver remote site support through a hub-based delivery model, ensuring constant monitoring and real-time results.
